Kerr Regional Citizen Voices is a community-led effort to protect our water, environment and quality of life. Please join us in our fight to stop two data center sites in Vance county. These data centers will touch the lives of every Kerr Regional Citizen. The developers, Michael Natelli, with Natelli Communities and Drew Nation, with Engineered Land Solutions(ELS), have plans to utilize millions of gallons of our refined drinking water drawn from Kerr Lake . The lake is at low levels now due to severe to extreme drought conditions across the Roanoke River Basin. What happens when there is not enough water? Who will be served first? These developers are working hard to have you pay the bill for their electric upgrade and if your house is in the way, Duke Energy will take it. We believe our community’s water and natural resources must be protected and citizens deserve a voice in decisions that will impact our region for generations to come.
